Decent quality traditional/homey pub style food and drink (parmy, fishnchips, lamb shanks - cheap pints!) and a range of activities to try when it's cool enough.The banquet hall is a gigantic dome that would be perfect for big functions, but they also catered well for our group of about thirty people. Staff were very friendly.

Damn Fine Place. Great Caravan park in the new area. Excellent ablutions and very clean. Impressed with the fishing lakes. Would visit again in future.
I was so excited to come to golden ponds to fish. I feel ripped off. Not one bite. Will never go there again. If I could give no stars I would.We are off to our local fishing spot. At least we will catch something.
